Joshua is getting so big and he loves running and jumping and climbing and anything like that. Today when we were outside, I looked up to see that he had climbed from the water table to the deck railing. I told him not to jump, but really my heart wasn't in it because it's not that high and it's grass so I don't feel like much could go wrong. He sensed my lack of conviction and said he had to jump to "save Natalie" (not sure what that means, but Natalie was totally fine, eating some grass a few feet away) and then he did it. I did tell him after that, that we weren't going to climb up there anymore and he seemed okay with that, though he did make an attempt to negotiate "one more time".
