Today in the morning we all went to this really great park by my parents' house. Jason has been working from home (well, from other people's homes) for the past four days, but today was the official first day of vacation time for him, so he was able to go with us. The park has a splash area in the summer, but it was a little cool today so we just played on the playgrounds.

Then, at dinner time, my mom thought we were going to a quiet dinner with just our family, but really it was a surprise birthday party for her that my dad had planned. This is her surprised face.
We had a lot of fun at the party.

We were able to get a picture of our entire family (minus Eric who is in Niger so couldn't make it to the party).
