Today for our outside time, the kids wanted to ride bikes. Clara has come such a long way in pedaling of late. She still struggles with trikes, probably especially because none of them are small enough for her, but she was tearing it up with her tiny little big wheel on the street. Joshua is an adept pedaler, but it is frustrating for me because he gets super frustrated any time there is even a tiny hill and so it gets a little hard and just wants to quit. Hopefully as he gets more experienced, he will realize about momentum and not stopping half-way up an incline and things like that. Hannah has no desire to self-propel in any way and doesn't understand why she should do anything when I have perfectly good arms with which to push her. She loves the trike and it has convenient foot rests so she doesn't even have to touch the pedals.
