I haven't really done chore charts yet, though I think we will probably start them sometime in the next year. However, I do expect my kids to help out when asked. For the most part, they are pretty happy to help, though picking up toys is probably the most frequent and most disliked chore they have. (I keep waiting for them to make the connection that maybe if they didn't take out all the toys, they wouldn't have to put them away, but so far it hasn't happened). One thing they really love is putting away silverware. Joshua is definitely tall enough to do a great job with this, though Clara has to either get a step stool or really stretch. But she still does a pretty good job.
