Last year for our road trip to Florida, I made a threading activity for Joshua with pool noodles. He wasn't really into it. We have also done pasta threading sometimes, but generally he has only been marginally interested. But last week we did pasta threading and he just loved it. Today I took the old pool noodle threading activity out again and he also was super excited about it. I think maybe his fine motor skills weren't there yet last year. Clara is kind of at that place now as she is interested, but doesn't totally get it so doesn't really enjoy it that much yet. (Yes it is super cold and the dead of winter. But Joshua doesn't like clothes so he more often than not only wears them when he has to.)
