Rainy Day Unloading

Over a year ago, my grandparents decided they would move down to Olathe.  We were all very excited about this, but we knew it was going to be a long process.  But recently things have really started to move fast, as they mostly completed the packing up of their house in Cedar Falls, and they also have a buyer for it.  Over the past couple weeks, Mom, Ron, and Uncle Brent have been up in Iowa with them, helping to finish pack.  Today they all drove down with the packed U-Haul as well as a loaded-up Pilot.  Grandpa and Grandma are still up there for a few more days to finish up some things, so they aren't yet coming down.  Matt and I met the other three at Grandpa and Grandma's new house to unload.  It went well, with the grand finale being the giant player piano we had to unload that was too wide for the ramp.  But I've moved a few (dozen?  hundred?) pianos in my day, and we were able to get it into the garage without sending anyone to the emergency room.  It's rained pretty much all day, and you can see the drops falling even as we took this picture after everything was moved in to the garage.  Even though Grandpa and Grandma aren't here yet, today was a very exciting day, because it was the most real-to-me step yet in them moving here.
