My company gives me 10 paid holidays per year, which is nice. One of them is Good Friday, though they always call it "Spring Holiday". Sometimes when Meghan and I have our date nights on Fridays, we still have to get up a little early on Saturday to take a kid to some sort of sports practice (previously often soccer, currently swimming). Since I have tomorrow off, we were able to have our data night tonight, knowing that there were no activities in the morning, because tomorrow's Friday. As always, Mom and Ron's graciousness in being willing to watch our kids overnight made it happen. We went out to dinner at Jazz, which is one of our all-time favorites. Shrimp Czarina is pretty much unbeatable, and we both indulged in it. The midtown location (by KU Med) is the original, and that's where we were able to go tonight. Here we are under their famous neon sign.
