Joshua pretty much loves snow and ice. We recently had a brief warm-ish period in the middle of the ice age that is this winter, so most of the snow is gone. But every time he sees a remaining pile, he wants to kick it or walk on it or do something to it. After soccer today there was a pile of snow in the corner of the parking lot that he seemingly couldn't resist. We had a few minutes to spare, so I let him spend some time on it. He loved it. He walked on it, kicked it, dug in it with his lollipop stick (they get lollipops at the end of each soccer session), and ended up spending 10 or 15 minutes before I told him we had to go, which he did not take well. But given this stupid winter, it'll probably still be there next Saturday, and probably for many Saturdays at this rate, so he'll probably have another chance.
