When we bought this house, I was excited that it had a kitchen island, but really only because of the extra counter and cabinet space it provided. At the time I did not think it would end up being so entertaining to our kids. Sometimes it's used if we are "chasing" them or if they are
driving/pushing things around in circles. Hannah is still refusing to try to walk more than a few steps at a time, and she still loves crawling and being chased, so tonight she and Joshua played a game where she would crawl as fast as she could around the island, and he would chase her and roar like a lion. She giggles hysterically and loves it. Here they are in mid-chase, with a poor, unsuspecting Terrance around the corner and about to get a surprise.
